Mgby Ningshen has been with Great Goals since January 2018. Mgby has played football since he was 10, playing in the I-league as part of the Delhi Dynamos. He brings the energy and enthusiasm of a player onto the field. Mgby is from Shingta village in Manipur and has 7 siblings. He holds an AIFF D license.

I love football. It taught me and made me learn everything for my day-to-day life. (e.g. discipline, respect, patience. etc.) |
Which is your favourite drill and why? |
Passing is my favourite drill, because passing involves all the technique and elements of football and I have a lot of fun and enjoy it. (e.g. pass to move on space, pass to score goal. etc) |
What is your favourite moment coaching a class? |
The moments when my kids understand what I say and do it correctly no matter how tired I am. |
Who is your coaching idol and why? |
I don’t have any idol in terms of coaching. |
What is your philosophy as a coach? |
My philosophy is to give my experience to my society and change the modern style of playing football. |
What is your favourite thing about Great Goals? |
Building up relationships when there is no relationship. Seeing the kids playing with their smiles and this makes me forget all my tension. |
What gives you joy? |
Seeing myself as a coach and family of Great Goals. |
What’s your favourite tool to motivate a player? |
The examples of my hard work and failure. |
