#StrongLikeAMother

The word ‘strength’ is a loaded one. It no longer sports solely a physical meaning, but carries with it our innermost resilient and vulnerable selves as well. It means knowing that you will have moments of weakness but it wont stop you from ploughing ahead. It wont stop you from jumping when you’re afraid of falling. It won’t stop you from asking for help when you need it the most.
Mothers are built upon a strength that does not start and end with giving birth, but continues to grow. The pandemic has seen mothers persevere and endure in more ways than one.
This Mother’s Day, we are proud to present our #StrongLikeAMother Campaign, in an effort to illuminate the all-encompassing strength that mothers portray every single day. We hope to expand the perspective of what ‘being strong’ truly means.
This campaign will commence on Thursday, May 6 and run throughout the month of May. We invite YOU to be a part of it. All you need to do is:
- Capture/dig up a photo of your mother in what you perceive as a raw and natural moment of strength.
- Write a few lines about what the photo represents.
Send in your photo and message to 9884632038. Please mention yours and your mother’s name.
AND THAT’S IT!
Guidelines
- Open to adults and kids across the country, why the world! You do not have to be a Great Goals player or parent to participate.
- Your photo and message will be featured on our Social Media handles.
